Lisa Jacques
Financial Advisor
I grew up in Worcester, Massachusetts—the kind of neighborhood where everyone knew everyone, and hard work wasn't optional. I've spent my career taking care of people, first as a critical care nurse for over 35 years, and for the past 17 years as a financial advisor. Turns out, both jobs require the same thing: paying attention, asking the right questions, and helping people feel confident about what comes next.
I have always been the "go-to girl" regarding the market, investments, and anything finances. My stepfather, Paul G. Dube, saw that interest and encouraged me to pursue it seriously. In 2008, I earned my Series 7 and Series 63 licenses and became a Registered Representative with SagePoint Financial (Now Osaic Wealth). For 14 years, I did both—nursing and financial planning—before finally transitioning full-time to focus on Jacques Wealth Management, which I founded in 2019. I still maintain my nursing license, though. Some things you just don't let go of.
Here's what I love most about this work: the initial meeting with a new client. I get a snapshot of where they are financially and where they hope to be, and then I get to build a plan that connects those two points. When it all falls together and you see the relief on their faces—that's the moment. That's why I do this.
I believe strongly that financial planning should never feel like a mystery. This is your money. You should understand what you're investing in and why. My nursing background taught me that people make better decisions when they actually understand what's happening, so I approach every conversation the same way I would if I were explaining a treatment plan: clearly, carefully, and without the jargon. I joke that no one leaves a meeting without a quiz, but honestly, I want you to walk out knowing more than when you walked in.
I'm proud to be a woman in business, and I bring that perspective to every client relationship—both women and men. I know what it takes to break barriers, balance competing priorities, and build something from scratch. And I know that good financial planning isn't about impressing anyone. It's about creating security, freedom, and confidence for the years ahead.
I live in Boylston with my partner of 12 years and our two dogs—a Wheaten Terrier named Addie and a rescue named Malcolm. My daughter Alexis and her husband Mitchell are expecting my first grandchild in February 2026, which I'm far too excited about. I'm close with my two sisters and brother, who all live nearby, and I'm still very much a Worcester County girl at heart.
When I'm not working, you'll find me cheering for the Patriots (I travel every year with three close friends to an away game—maybe one year we'll pick a game they actually win), spending summers in Maine, skiing in New England during the winter, or staying active through fitness and running. I recently completed my first half-marathon in Maine, which was equal parts accomplishment and reminder that I'm not 25 anymore.
I hold a BA in Nursing, Series 7 and Series 63 licenses, and I'm currently working on my Series 65. But the credential I'm most proud of? The trust my clients place in me to help them build the future they want.
